The program has been designed as general application for security cross platforms functioning all together with wireless and wired IP webcams, TV-cards, capture cards, power-line, and USB webcams.

It has web interface with the similar form and controls on the local and remote computers. Customers see MPEG-4 coded picture and have full control of the software through net that security computer can be operated with no monitor, keyboard, and mouse connected.

Software s modular structure considerably increases reliability because all parts act as independent software. If one part stops working, other parts go on running. For example if the "capture" part freezes, "watchdog" starts over it immediately that viewers don t notice anything because they are viewing picture through a "playback" unit.

The software performs "cyclic" recording that the "hard drive full" situation never occurs. The recording can be constant or it can be initiated by activity, human face detection, or by timetable.

The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty simple and performs on the surveillance computer as well as on apart computer via Web interface.

The program performs simultaneous video playback for event examination from many webcams simultaneously. Also recorded information can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded data can be encrypted and password protected.
